Diesel engine maintenance method:
1. Change the oil that meets the temperature on time. Diesel cars and gasoline cars need to be replaced according to the number of kilometers, but it should be noted that if you drive a diesel car to a place with a large temperature difference, the oil label must be replaced in time to avoid damage to the engine.
2. Replace the diesel filter, oil filter and air filter on time. The diesel, oil and air filters are referred to as three filters for short. Usually, the oil filter and air filter are replaced during maintenance, but the diesel filter is often ignored, but whether it is in the process of transportation or storage at the gas station, some impurities will be mixed into the oil more or less. These impurities It will be added to the fuel tank of our car along with the diesel.
3. After combustion, carbon deposits will occur and affect the normal service life of the engine. The function of the diesel filter is to filter these fine impurities so that they remain in the filter and will not be burned. Therefore, when the filtration performance of the diesel filter decreases, it should be replaced in time or according to the number of kilometers.
The use of diesel that conforms to the regional temperature label, the country is vast and picturesque, but also creates a large temperature difference between the north and south of the motherland, so you must pay attention to the temperature difference when driving a diesel car. Domestic diesel is divided into 10, 0, -10, -20, The six grades of -35 and -50 indicate that the freezing point is not higher than 10°C, 0°C, -10°C, -20°C, -35°C and -50°C respectively; the higher the grade, the lower the freezing point. That is, it is important to remember that the colder the place, the diesel of the corresponding brand should be used. Another point is that when refueling, you must tell the fueler to refill diesel so as not to add gasoline by mistake.
Before starting a cold car, it must be preheated. The diesel engine is ignited by compression (without spark plugs), that is, the atomized diesel is ignited by compressing the air in the cylinder to generate high temperature and high pressure. However, due to the low temperature in winter in the northern region, the lubricating oil is sticky, and the compressed air in the cylinder cannot reach the ignition point of the atomized diesel when the car is cold, so a glow plug is placed on each cylinder to start the diesel. When the engine is used, the temperature in the cylinder is increased so as to achieve the purpose of starting a cold car, and of course, it also reduces the loss of the battery.
